Halloween Mantel

well i have been busy this weekend!
busy,busy,with decorating for
Halloween.

usually this doesn't happen @our house.
i thought you didn't have to be
obsessed with Halloween to love it!
but this year,
I CAN'T WAIT!

maybe it is because we are making it a
family event, or maybe it is because i
have been inspired from all these great ideas
on blogland.

i thought i would do this to my front porch

but as you can tell my front porch is very
small and narrow.
so that didn't happen.
all my ideas get shot down.(lol)

first off,
a couple of weeks ago i drew an image
on a piece of paper for our mantle.
you know to see how it was gonna look.
well..........
we can't find that!
so i just started putting the mantle together.

i painted some candlesticks!
put some scrap paper in a glass jar
and tied a ribbon around it.
hung a few spiders.

cut out a few of these

painted my chalkboard frame

can you see how busy i have been?

well i won't keep you waiting any longer...
here is the whole view
of  our mantel and wall!

i think it is awesome except the fireplace it's self.
i can't wait to change that!
